Cremation

Direct Cremation

The deceased is picked up from location where death occurred and transported directly to the crematory. There is NO viewing with this option.

Direct Cremation with Obituary

The deceased is picked up from location where death occurred and transported directly to the crematory. There is NO viewing with this option.

Direct Cremation with Private Family Goodbye

This package includes a 30-minute PRIVATE family viewing for 10 people (Immediate Family Only) at our Oak Grove Facility. In some instances, due to the condition of the deceased, embalming may be necessary. In that case, there would be an additional charge of $895.

Direct Cremation: In Loving Memory

This package includes the Direct Cremation, a Register Book, 100 Service folders, 50 Thank You cards, and a Colonial Urn. We will also assist in preparing an obituary. There is NO viewing with this option. This package is usually selected by families making their own Memorial Service plans.

The Celebration of Life

A Memorial Service is held at either the funeral home or a church, usually scheduled at a set time after cremation has taken place. Our staff makes all necessary arrangements for this service and is present to help as needed at the service. The Cremation and Loving Memory Packages above are included with this option, as well as our Colonial Urn.

The Serenity

This option includes a visitation at the funeral home prior to the cremation. This option requires embalming of the body ($895) and a casket for viewing purposes. A casket may be purchased from our selection room or you may choose our Norwood Rental Casket ($795). The rental Casket is made of solid hardwood and contains the cardboard insert used for the cremation.

Immediate Burial (Funeral Home Staff Only)

Local Transfer of remains to our facility, Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff, other preparation of remains, and transportation to the cemetery.
