Shirley L. Farley
Shirley Lee Ruckman Farley, 79, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12th at Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley, MO.
Shirley was born June 19, 1936, in Wheeling, West Virginia, the daughter of William and Leona (Jeffery) Higgins. She enjoyed singing, shopping, having lunch with her friends, watching Jeopardy, and spending time with her family.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Joseph; and two husbands, Edward Ruckman and Al Farley.
Her survivors include two daughters, Lori (Joseph) Crim of Belton, MO and Beth Anne Polen of Oak Grove, MO; seven grandchildren: Adam, Nicole, Anthone, Samantha, Christopher, Rebecka, and Allison; and three great-grandchildren: Madilyn, Mariah, and Matthew.
