Izabell M. Denman

Izabell M. Denman

Izabell Mercedes Denman, born April 7, 2006, in Lincoln, Nebraska, and was welcomed into heaven on August 29, 2026. Izabell was raised in Lincoln and then moved to Higginsville, Missouri where she graduated from Lafayette County C-1 High School, Higginsville in 2025.

Preceding her in death were her all her great-grandparents, including her Gg (Virginia Sonnenfelt), her Uncle Joey Costlow, and her brother Shawn, who she has finally met in Heaven.

Izzy is survived by her parents, Cody and Alexa Moore Denman, grandparents Tim and Erica Denman, Leon and Glenda Puckett, Anola Sonnenfelt, Steve Barefoot, uncles James Denman (Sarah), Trevor Denman (Coco), Chad Moore, Aunt Anessa Costlow Cox (Jon), uncle Derril Puckett (Tammie), Aunt Tammi Miller (Matt) and numerous great aunts, great uncles, and cousins. Izzy also leaves behind a very special friend, Jackie Stahnke of Lincoln, who she met in second grade. In spite of living in different states, the two have remained best friends since. Additionally, Izzy was a proud dog parent with her puppy, Posty, being the love of her life!

Izabell had a miraculous start in life, having been born weighing only 1 pound, 7.7oz. Izzy had an amazingly kind heart, beginning at a very young age. She loved the opportunity to help the little children with cancer. Izabell first donated her hair to Locks of Love when she was only five years old. She had since done the same multiple times, with the last donation occurring upon her passing. Izzy felt led to help King’s Kids Village in Nairobi Kenya, receiving over $1,000 in donations for the orphanage instead of receiving presents for herself on her 8th birthday!  As she grew up so did her love for music, especially Taylor Swift, Nebraska football, Nebraska volleyball, RedWings hockey and Big Brother!!

She loved fiercely, wholeheartedly and loyally. She was silly, fun and playful. She was the best of both parents!

Izabell’s Celebration of Life will be held September 5, 2026, 2:00-4:00pm at Royer Funeral Home, 100 Royer Lane, Grain Valley, MO 64029.
